Biography

Having grown up in Oklahoma City, Dr. Dobry has always considered the Dallas area a second home.  He attended Southern Methodist University, and having many family members living in the Metroplex, has been a regular visitor to Dallas his entire life.  Prior to his Podiatric medical career, Dr. Dobry worked in commercial real estate sales and also for a general contracting construction firm, both in Oklahoma City.

While living there, Dr. Dobry volunteered for several charities including the Bachelor's Club of Oklahoma City, Prevent Blindness Oklahoma, and is a perpetual member of the Ancient Free & Accepted Masons. While in Arizona, Dr. Dobry volunteered for the Arizona State Arthritis Foundation.

Dr. Dobry enjoys vigorous political discussions, writing, studying history, fly-fishing, camping, and most of all, cooking.  When Dr. Dobry is not pursuing these activities, he proudly supports the Oklahoma Sooners, and dutifully instructs his daughter and son to do so, as well.

Dr. Dobry graduated from the University of Oklahoma, in Norman, Oklahoma, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. He then attended the University of Central Oklahoma, in Edmond, Oklahoma, where he achieved a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Lastly, he acquired his Doctoral degree from Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery, in Miami, Florida. After finishing his studies, he was appointed to and completed two (2) years of Podiatric Surgical training at St. Luke's Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona, where he was trained by the internationally recognized foot surgeon, Dr. Kerry Zang. For both years, Dr. Dobry was the chief resident.
